BarkHaven Rules

  1. All dogs must be registered and hold a valid day pass or membership to enter BarkHaven. Their humans are always free.
  2. All dogs must be in good health and current on the following vaccinations: DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies. Please upload all vaccination records prior to your first visit.
  3. Dogs must be at least 3 months old to visit BarkHaven.
  4. Dogs older than 12 months must be spayed or neutered, no dogs in heat please.
  5. Check-in is required upon arrival each visit. Please keep your dog on leash and be mindful of gates while entering and existing.
  6. Please monitor your dog at all times. We have dedicated staff helping to keep play time safe for all. Your dog is your responsibility, don’t leave your best friend wondering if you’re lost. Do not leave the premises without your dog.
  7. Dogs must be kept on leash in designated areas. Once through the yard gate, release the hounds!
  8. Sh*t happens, but please clean it up. We’ve made it easy with poop bags, trash cans, and hoses close by. Help us keep BH sanitary and smell-free for all.
  9. Keep the bark in check. A constant chorus of barks disrupts the harmony of our play area, so please ensure your dog’s vocals stay in check. Barking can stir up pack dynamics and change the atmosphere in the blink of an eye and stress out other dogs. If your pup gets vocal during playtime, please act to quiet them. And, speaking of harmony, we’re also in a neighborhood where we want to be considerate of noise levels for our neighbors.
  10. Pack Leaders may assist pet parents in stopping their dog’s barking. BarkHaven wants humans to be able to have conversations and watch sports. We also want to be good neighbors to nearby residents and businesses.
  11. We want all dogs and humans to feel comfortable and safe at BarkHaven. Pack Leaders will be patrolling off-leash areas and have the right to handle or take action to prevent fights from breaking out. Consensual play is permitted, but no mounting or fighting. If a dog is showing signs of aggression (excessive barking, snarling, bullying, dominance, pinning) humans will be asked to leash their dogs and take them to a quiet space or have a time-out until they calm down and return to play.
  12. If signs of aggression happen more than twice, as determined by our trained Pack Leaders, humans may be asked to move to a leashed area or just call it a day. It is the dog’s way of telling you it’s too much and they need to go home. We appreciate your cooperation to keep everyone safe. We want to encourage all dogs to visit BarkHaven, but unfortunately aggressive or unsocialized dogs may not be the best fit for this environment. Dogs have bad days, just like humans! Maybe try again another day.
  13. We reserve the right to revoke membership on a case-by-case basis.
  14. For safety of all, please no retractable leashes or choke, prong, electric, spike, or pinch collars. We encourage all dogs to wear collars with their tags. Please keep your leashes with you at all times or utilize the leash rack. We are not responsible for wandering property, but we will do our best to help you out if it does happen.
  15. No outside toys or treats allowed in the off leash play area. We’ll provide fun toys and treats will be available for purchase inside to be given while on leash or at home. Please no outside human food or drink. We have a wide variety of drinks and a food truck on site.
  16. Please bring a human friend, if you’d like to bring more than two dogs. Two dogs maximum per person.
  17. You are solely responsible if your dog causes any damage or harm to another person, dog or property. You assume all liability for damages suffered by any person or dog and use at your own risk.
